Following the release of the original Eye of Judgment game in October 2007, Biolith Rebellion Set 2 offers an all-new set of 100 cards to expand and grow the core gaming experience. New creatures, new attacks, new spells, new strategies and exciting new gameplay all combine to give Eye of Judgment fans the expansion pack they’ve been eagerly waiting for.

This expansion will be exclusively available via PLAYSTATION®Network download.

Utilising EyeToy technology for PLAYSTATION®3, The Eye of Judgment presents a new style of gameplay where the player brings characters and spells of fantasy trading cards to life for battle in 3D. Through use of a 3’ x 3’ board and trading cards - each encrypted with a “cybercode”, players conquer the field by selecting a card and placing the “cybercode” in front of the next generation PLAYSTATION®Eye camera for their respective character to come to life and battle. Each character has various skillsets, which will determine the outcome of the battle. The Eye of Judgment presents the player with more than 30 cards, as well as unique online and offline gameplay.

EYE OF JUDGMENT SET 1 PERFORMANCE
The Eye of Judgment has sold-through over 62,000 units since launch in October 2007 (figures correct to end Jan 2008). 75% of sell-through has been in the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Iberia.

Consumers have reacted positively to the game, and enjoy the unique experience that the game offers, which is unlike any other trading card game in the market.

Review scores have been generally above average. Metacritic gives an average review score of 75% over 38 reviews, which is a good performance for a new genre in videogaming:

BIOLITH REBELLION SET 2 GAME CARDS
All game cards will be manufactured and distributed by Hasbro. This will be a new range of 100 cards, made available at retail (channels TBC) through booster packs and theme decks.

NEW ABILITIES - OVERVIEW
The following abilities are new for the Biolith Rebellion Set 2 expansion and will provide a richer and deeper strategic experience for players.

Decoy – A creature with the decoy ability distracts the target enemy, forcing the enemy to focus its attacks on them. This is a useful new defensive manoeuvre, allowing players to protect vulnerable allies by drawing attacks away from them.

Exit mana – Some creatures now have the ability to steal Exit Mana. This is mana gained when an allied creature is defeated and is often vital to a player’s strategy.

Fieldmorph – The target field becomes the same element as the creature occupying it.

Magic Protection – The creature has a defence ability against magic.

Resurrection – If a creature with this ability is defeated, and you hold a duplicate of it in your hand, you can summon the duplicate to the same field for only 1 mana.
